Madjare is a very popular village, it is surrounded by really beautiful countrside and is also in the valley due to be included as part of the super Borovets project. Madjare is approximately an hours drive from Sofia and 15minutes by car to the large town of Samokov and is connected by a good road. Madjare is only 14kms from the resort of Borovets. The nature there is great and picturesque .
In Winter , there are the usual mix of skiing, snowboarding, ski-doo safaris and of course apres ski while spring and summer bring opportunities for hiking, fishing, jeep safaris or visiting the many places of interest in the surrounding area such as The Rila Monastery or The Royal Palace in Borovets.

Also there are a lot of cozy public catering establishment where one can have a drink and a bite or just relax listening to nice music with a cup of coffee or a soft drink.
